About Mwansabombwe Valley Products
Mwansabombwe Valley Products Limited (MVP) was registered with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) in 2025 after conducted research into the livelihood of rural communities in Luapula Province and in particular Mwansabombwe district.
Luapula Province is located in the northern part of Zambia and borders the Democratic Republic of Congo. Luapula is home to approximately 1.1 million people, most of whom live in rural areas. The region is characterised by abundant water resources, with lakes and rivers supporting agriculture, fishing and subsistence farming.
Our Objectives
Enhance Organic Produce Production: Train local communities in modern practices to increase yields and access premium markets both locally and Internationally
Forest Conservation: Encourage sustainable management of community forests by integrating produce productions with forest protection strategies, thereby reducing deforestation and promoting biodiversity.
Economic Empowerment: Improve household incomes for small scale farmers in Mwansabombwe district through the high quality and premium export markets
Build resilience: Strengthen the resilience of local communities against economic shocks and environmental challenges by diversifying income sources through organic and natural produce.
Develop Value Added Products: Establish processing plants to process and manufacture value added products.
